Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to support a client of ours in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This candidate will support the eCommerce and digital marketing analytic needs by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on web traffic, online service usage, and identifying opportunities for improvement/optimization through decreasing deterrents and eliminating customer pain points. The role will also support reporting performance on digital marketing efforts and work with other Business Intelligence groups as needed to provide data and support the measurement and reporting of the eCommerce/digital product performance against plans.

Produces weekly, monthly reports to communicate performance and progress against goals and opportunities.
Develops and generates dashboards, graphs, and other visuals to communicate findings, trends and performance to various groups and individuals.
Understands website behaviors and delivers customer experience recommendations.
Performs data consolidation and validation.
Identify requirements, manages, and delivers proper analytics tags/code and parameter tracking for websites, online services and tools, and digital marketing efforts including email, social , seo, paid inbound.
Helps identify and provide analysis support for A/B testing and multivariate (from hypothesis creation to influencing creative direction to identifying success metrics) and post-test analysis and reporting to cross functional stakeholders.
Collects business tracking requirements from multiple sources including product specialists, content owners and other stakeholders and is responsible for the execution of analytics code to meet the measurement/tracking needs
Serve as a UAT resource for marketing and product releases.
Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. May refer to established precedents and policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 or 5+ years of experience in similar or related role (web analyst or equivalent combination of education, training, exp. has own website, etc.)
Experience with the following tools & technologies:
o Google Analytics - what will be used a lot for current and upcoming projects (if they have GA4 that is a plus, not required)
o Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Google Apps, including Gmail, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
o Google Tag Manager (using most at the moment)
o MicroStrategy or SAP
Uses strong analytical skills to provide insights as well as recommendations for changes and convinces key decision makers of business benefits of recommendations.
Exhibits high degree of proactiveness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence change.
Must have excellent project management, administration and organization, presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Must be willing and able to take on new responsibilities with a strong desire to succeed and produce results.
Applies technical knowledge and business acumen to develop measurements and tracking mechanisms that inform business decisions.
Carefully listens to understand business problems from internal customers and provides solutions to meet those needs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with dashboarding tools such as: Looker Studio (Data Studio), Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
Google BigQuery or SQL a plus.
Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related.
