Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Lab Technician in the Warren, Michigan area. The lab tech is going to support the team with lab organization, safety documentation, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has experience with logistics and knowledge in mechanics and fixtures.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Manage lab layout and organization, ensuring the space is optimized for efficient workflows
- Track and manage lab equipment and assets, including procurement, receiving, installation, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning
- Maintain an up-to-date equipment inventory and asset registry
- Perform safety-related tasks, including equipment safety review and Management of Change (MOC), ensuring full compliance and documentation.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $32/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Mechanical/Robotics aptitude
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate with researchers, engineers, suppliers, & facilities teams

- R&D, Engineering, Robotics Lab experience
