Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer in the Warren, Michigan area. This role is heavily hands-on at the start, with a strong emphasis on embedded hardware development and lab-based work, and evolves over time into end-to-end system modeling and AI-related development. The ideal candidate is a self-directed engineer with a research-oriented mindset who can work autonomously, think creatively, and consistently deliver progress without close supervision.
% Breakdown:
50% Hardware development
40% Software Development
10% Writing papers and ROIs
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Electronics
- 4+ years of experience in PCB development
- Experience working with electronics hardware
- Experience writing Machine Learning models
- Experience with software development – python, Pytorch, and C++
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with ROS 2 and Isaac Sim
