Insight Global is looking for an Android Embedded Developer for one of our largest OEM clients. This person will be responsible for developing infotainment applications/software for next generation vehicles. They will be specifically focused in middleware and backend software supporting different applications such as camera, sound and security application. This person will be responsible for Performing root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design spikes. He or she will also be responsible for Defining , designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting software products.

* Prior experience developing applications within a QNX operating system or Android Operating System
* Experience developing on the middle layer of Android Framework
* 5-7 years of Experience developing in Java
* Experience developing infotainment systems or embedded software within the automotive, consumer electronics, aviation or defense
* Development experience with Android frameworks (service, JNI, native service, HAL, etc.),
* Software design and implementation experience in an object-oriented environment
