Job Description
Day to Day:
In this role, you’ll support and integrate PCIe‑based networking solutions used in high‑performance server and defense environments. Your day will include working hands‑on with data‑center‑style systems and network hardware, configuring and validating solutions built on Broadcom, Microchip, or Qualcomm silicon. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and technical leadership to troubleshoot issues, validate performance, and ensure systems operate as expected. The role includes time in lab and customer environments, requires strong communication skills to explain technical findings to leadership, and may involve short‑notice travel to support integration, testing, or customer needs across DoD programs.
Compensation:
$35/hr to $40/hr

Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
• Strong experience working with PCIe‑based network architectures in server or embedded environments
• Hands‑on exposure to network silicon such as Broadcom, Microchip, or Qualcomm chipsets
• Solid understanding of how PCIe networking works at a system level and how it is configured, tested, and validated
• Strong fundamentals in networking concepts (throughput, latency, debugging, performance bottlenecks)
• Comfortable working in Linux environments for system interaction, diagnostics, and manipulation
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering leads, program leadership, and customers
Hardware configuration
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Experience supporting DoD or defense programs
• Background supporting server farm or data center environments, including system bring‑up, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Previous work in lab, test, or integration environments
• Exposure to embedded systems, hardware‑adjacent networking, or high‑speed interconnects
• Familiarity with system‑level debugging tools (traffic analysis, log inspection, performance metrics)
Active or previously held security clearance
