REMOTE Sr. Data Engineer

Day to Day

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work remotely to design, build, and maintain modern, secure, and scalable data systems, with a strong focus on healthcare data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include engineering data within the EPIC ecosystem, with hands-on development using EPIC Caboodle to support healthcare data integration and reporting. You will use DBT to write modular SQL models that run efficiently on Snowflake, ensuring clean, tested, and well-documented data transformations. Leveraging your understanding of AWS and Snowflake, you will architect and optimize cloud-based data pipelines. In addition, you may utilize Python for automation and data engineering tasks, and apply source control practices to bring structure, collaboration, and versioning to your workflow.

Must Have:

Hands on experience engineering data within EPIC
Hands on experience with EPIC Caboodle for healthcare data integration
Ability to use DBT to write SQL models that run on Snowflake
Understands AWS and Snowflake to design, build, and maintain modern and secure data systems

Plusses:

Source Control (also known as version control) to bring structure, safety, and collaboration to data engineering workflows
Skilled in Python for data engineering and automation
