Job Description

The Bilingual Clinician provides therapeutic services to children and adolescents. This role involves conducting mental health assessments, screening for trauma and trafficking concerns, and delivering crisis intervention and support. The clinician collaborates with families, sponsors, and program staff to develop and implement treatment plans that promote healing and adjustment to life in the U.S.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provide weekly individual therapy weekly.
- Collaborate with youth and families/sponsors to set short-term goals and complete service plans and assessments within required timeframes.
- Design and implement clinical interventions to support youth adjustment and address trauma related to migration or life in their home country.
- Conduct screenings and assessments for mental health, developmental, medical, and trauma-related concerns, including trafficking and gang involvement.
- Deliver crisis intervention and ensure youth receive appropriate support and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal standards.
- Participate in case reviews and planning meetings, presenting clear and concise client updates.
- Coordinate with internal staff and external resources to meet client needs and track progress toward treatment goals.
- Serve as on-call therapist as needed.
- Stay informed on policies and procedures related to the care of Unaccompanied Children, including legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize electronic health record systems (Cx360) and maintain certification as a system user.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Unaccompanied Children Services

Pay Range from $60,000-$67,000 with a $1,500 sign on bonus.

Required Skills & Experience

- Master's Degree in relevant behavioral science field
- Licensure stated above or ability to obtain licensure within three years - LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC, LGMFT, LCMFT, LGPAT, LCPAT
Bilingual in Spanish - fluent in reading and writing
3-5 Years of Experience in social services field
