Role Overview
Insight Global's clients' Enterprise Architecture organization is seeking a technical "builder + coordinator" to support architecture governance, solution architecture assessments, and automation initiatives. This individual will help manage a backlog of roughly 120 technology initiatives, working with business stakeholders, architects, security, infrastructure, and project teams to move requests through the EA-PRISM governance process. The role combines governance coordination, solution architecture analysis, documentation, diagramming, application development, and workflow automation. The long-term goal is to reduce manual effort and help scale Enterprise Architecture processes globally.
Day to Day
• Coordinate Enterprise Architecture governance requests and stakeholder follow-ups
• Validate initiative readiness, gather missing requirements, and manage intake activities
• Document business, technical, integration, security, and infrastructure requirements
• Create architecture diagrams using Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools
• Support Architecture Review Board (ARB) preparation and governance reviews
• Analyze APIs, integrations, data flows, RBAC, cloud architecture, and security considerations
• Track approvals, action items, dependencies, and request status
• Support development efforts within GitHub, VS Code, AWS, and internal platforms
• Build workflow automations and improve governance tooling/processes
• Assist with AI, agentic, chatbot, reporting, and automation initiatives being evaluated by Enterprise Architecture
Partner with architects to evaluate and document solution recommendations and implementation approaches.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves
• 2-5 years of experience in application development, solution architecture support, or systems analysis work
• Hands-on development experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation (Logic Apps, Power Automate, or similar)
• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements
• Experience creating architecture diagrams using Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools
• GitHub and VS Code experience
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS fundamentals
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to support global teams
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Fluent English and experience working within a large enterprise environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses
• Manufacturing industry experience - highly preferred
• Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, ARB, architecture governance, or technology intake process experience
• AI/GenAI, Copilot, MCP, Agentic AI, chatbot, or automation experience
• Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate) experience
• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or SQL experience
• SharePoint, Dataverse, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or Ardoq experience
• Understanding of SSO, OAuth, RBAC, security, and identity management concepts
• Experience evaluating solution architectures and making technical recommendations
Experience working within global organizations and distributed teams
