Job Description
An Insight Global customer is hiring for a Mid-Level IT Project Manager. This individual will be part of a team of PM’s supporting state funded IT modernization and upgrade projects. The right person for this opening will have strong communication skills, experience managing multiple projects at once, and a background in both agile and waterfall projects. This role is first shift and is hybrid onsite in Lansing, MI on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Please note that this role requires a federal background check. Any past criminal activity, such as a Minor in Possession (MIP) or DUI, even from when the candidate was 17 or 18, could disqualify them from being approved to work in this area. Compensation Range: $50/hr to $60/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager in an enterprise, state, or federal environment
- Experience Leading a team or project in an maintenance and operations IT environment
- Experience with IT Infrastructure components, application upgrades, and/or technology modernization projects
- PMBOK 5 or PMBOK 6 experience/understanding
- Strong experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Strong experience working in a Microsoft environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ACP or PMP Certification
