Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a strong Nurse practitioner to assist in coordination of clinical operations, including medical surveillance, OSHA recordkeeping, facility operations and patient care activities such as episodic or emergency visits, first aid, and other activities as needed. This person will provide occupational and non-occupational injury response, evaluation, and treatment care and provide preventive medicine and wellness services/counseling; performs physical examinations, supports site health promotion and disease prevention programs. They should be comfortable with documenting patient data in electronic medical database(s), as per standard protocols

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Will work with other clinical team members in the Kalamazoo Wellness clinic as well as interact with EHS, Colleague Wellness Leadership Team members as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Masters degree in advanced Practice Registered Nursing
Current APRN Board Certification
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an occupational nursing professional
Experience in episodic care, wellness care and counseling of adults
Proficiency in use of electronic medical record keeping systems desirable
Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
Workers Compensation
OSHA
OSHA Blood-borne pathogen/Universal precautions

Clinical Skills:
Phlebotomy experience required, perform EKGs, etc.
Administer vaccinations
