Job Description

A client of Insight Global in Chattanooga is seeking a dedicated Structural Project Engineer to join a Structural Architectural firm in Holland, Michigan. In this role, you'll engineer and price steel structures for the Poligon and CEAS+ brands, utilizing RISA-3D and other CADD software. You'll ensure compliance with building codes and create detailed structural calculations. The ideal candidate will have experience designing open-air steel structures, awnings, amphitheaters, and overhangs in parks.

Required Skills & Experience

· 2-4 years' experience in structural engineering

· Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited university

· E.I.T. Degree

· Familiarity with major U.S. building codes

· Experience with EPICOR ERP or similar systems

· 0-5 years' experience in structural engineering

· Familiarity with structural analysis software preferred

· Knowledge of engineering principles and product development processes

· Originality and judgment in evaluating new applications and products

Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Access with excellent written and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

P.E. License
