Job Description
An automotive client of Insight Global in the West Michigan area is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team! This individual serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, managing communication through phone, email, and customer portals. This role oversees the intake, documentation, and preliminary analysis of customer reported issues, coordinates sorting or containment activities when required, and manages related logistics such as RMAs and purchasing actions. Once quality issues arise, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with engineering teams to develop solutions that decrease defective product output using. This is an onsite position; candidates are required to be onsite 5 days per week.
Compensation:
$80,000 to $90,000 annually

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5-10 years of quality engineering experience
- Recent automotive or aerospace industry experience
- Strong understanding of PFMEA and Control Plans
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Tier one supplier or OEM experience
- Experience working directly with suppliers
