Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for an Automation Engineering Manager to lead a team of Automation Technicians and support automation projects across production operations. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities with Automation Engineers, developing training plans, and providing day-to-day leadership and technical support. The manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing equipment uptime, reducing downtime, and improving overall system reliability. They will work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to prioritize projects, resolve issues, and ensure operational goals are met. Strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills are required.
Compensation: 120k-130k

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Engineering Science.
• 7+ years of experience within automation, manufacturing, or controls.
• 5+ years of experience with PLC programming & troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred) and HMI software programming (Factory Talk or Ignition preferred).
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, & programming machines/robots (FANUC preferred).
• 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred:
• Project Management experience.
• Experience working with cobots.
• Familiarity with ultrasonic welding and plastics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
