Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Paralegal for a Family and Criminal Law firm in Grand Rapids, MI. This role will be onsite Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and drafting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of legal procedures.
The main responsibilities include:
-Providing support to attorneys by preparing for court appearances and trials, and handling other administrative tasks as needed
-Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date
-Prepare depositions and summaries
-Prepare discovery requests and responses
-Handle administrative tasks including calendaring, document formatting, and client communication
-Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases

Required Skills & Experience
1+ year of experience as a paralegal
Proficient in legal research and case management data management
Proficient with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Adobe
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in family and/or criminal law
Experience with PracticePanther or Clio
