Job Description

General Responsibilities:
A large automotive Tier 1 supplier is seeking M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering fields to join an Advanced Technology Development team focused on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Automated Driving technologies. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge in image processing, AI, sensors, and control algorithms, along with solid communication and collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop and refine ADAS and automated driving systems
• Design concepts, algorithms, test scenarios, and validation strategies
• Conduct experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot complex system issues
• Plan and execute development tasks independently with a high level of analytical ability
• Contribute to technical publications, patents, and represent the team at industry conferences

Compensation: $115K - $130K
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

Education:
• Ph.D. preferred (M.S. acceptable) in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or related engineering field
Experience:
• 3–4 years working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers on ADAS or autonomous driving systems
• Proven track record of developing AI-based algorithms for camera systems or robotics-assisted platforms
• Hands-on experience creating algorithms from scratch for self-driving or sensor-driven systems
Technical Skills:
• Strong Python programming skills (C++ is a plus)
• Deep understanding of image processing and machine learning, especially transformer-based AI applications
• Familiarity with AI sensing, motors, and sensor integration in robotics systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Cloud computing knowledge
• Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development
• Strong technical writing and project management capabilities
