Job Description
A client in the Lansing MI area is seeking 5 Mechanical Engineers to join their team for a full-time opportunity. In this role, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing subcontractors who perform equipment installation at new factory sites, ensuring that all work is executed safely, accurately, and according to project requirements. The position is heavily focused on new equipment installations rather than maintenance activities or continuous improvement efforts. The engineer provides on‑site leadership in managing rigging operations, equipment installation processes, piping work, and the day‑to‑day coordination of contractor crews assigned to the project.
The role requires basic proficiency in CAD software, Excel, and PowerPoint, which are used to support project documentation, planning, and communication with stakeholders and subcontractor teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Logistics, or a related field
0–4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing support, or related roles
Experience with CAD Software and Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bilingual in Korean
