REMOTE Project Manager

Day to day:

Our client is seeking a Project Manager whose day-to-day responsibilities center around leading the successful delivery of Real-Time Location System (RTLS) solutions for enterprise customers across North America. A typical day may begin with remote coordination meetings, aligning internal teams and external contractors on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. The role involves frequent communication with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Youll manage project schedules, budgets, and risks, while also tracking key performance indicators to maintain high standards of quality and reliability. Hands-on involvement is expected, including supporting system configuration, integration, and testing efforts. Youll also collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to scope new opportunities and contribute to solution design. While much of the work is remote, travel to customer sites is required for installations, training, and stakeholder engagement. This role demands strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Must have:

5+ years of experience managing technical projects involving complex hardware/software solutions.
Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools (for managing schedule, costs, risks, and resources).
Ability to lead projects remotely with indirect resources and contractors.
Experience in customer-facing roles with strong presentation and communication skills.

Plusses:

Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially in manufacturing operations.
Experience managing IT hardware/software-oriented projects.
Familiarity with network technology and/or radio technology.
Basic understanding of wireless radio communications and RFID.
PMP or equivalent certification.
Professional fluency in Spanish.
Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
