Job Description

Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking an onsite IT Support Specialist for one of our largest clients in Detroit, MI. Our client is looking for this person to provide support for personal computers and peripherals, including but not limited to troubleshooting of defective or inoperable components, diagnosis and eventual replacement of defective components and assistance of end-users in the proper use of hardware and software. On a day to day this person will be responsible for the assembly, optimization and placement of personal computers, printers, and other computer-related equipment. Other responsibilities include the entry and maintenance of records in the appropriate Firm IT system(s) used to track technology assets. An additional requirement includes helping set up and support Conference rooms and assist customers with their scheduled meetings. They will be required to assist the Firm AV engineering team with AV/VC and device testing when necessary. The team is looking for someone with a great personality, a critical thinker, someone who is self-motivated, can handle a fast-paced environment and can come in and hit the ground running.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
2-4+ years of IT troubleshooting & end-user support.
Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Knowledge of personal computers hardware, operating systems, application software, AV equipment and printers.
Experience with end user support specifically within Microsoft 365.
Experience with a ticketing system (ServiceNow plus)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Experience in a Legal or Professional services environment.
