Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer who excels at collaborating with technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering products that include web front-end development using JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks such as Angular. Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build) is essential. Experience in machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis is a plus. Additional qualifications include familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA for managing backlogs, iterations, and user stories; expertise in developing microservices; a solid understanding of fundamental data modeling; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar Gen-AI-based development tools is highly desirable.
$60/hr to $70/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a combination of education and equivalent experience. • 1+ year experience with developing for and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, PCF, Azure) • Implement and optimize cloud services and tools (e.g. Terraform, BigQuery, GCP) • Experience in development using combination of the following technologies: • Languages: Java / JS / TS / Python • Frontend frameworks: Angular / React • Backend frameworks: Springboot / Node • Proven experience understanding, practicing, and advocating for software engineering disciplines from Clean Code, Software Artisanship, and Lean including: • Paired / Mobbing programming • Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) • Evolutionary design • Minimum Viable Product • Willingness to collaborate daily with team members. • A strong curiosity around how to best use technology to amaze and delight our customers • Using CI/CD tools and pipelines e.g. Tekton, Cloud Build, Github Actions etc.
