Job Description

One of our automotive clients is looking for a Tooling Engineer to support their team in Dearborn, MI. The person in this position will be specializing and delivering Final Assembly tooling. They’ll be responsible for providing a consistent level of proficiency required to implement engineering standards, lessons learned, employee training, and implement manufacturing processes.
Additional responsibilities:
- Foster/mentor FAE engineering and tooling integrators through Tool Design to ensure production tooling meets GVOSS intent – experience with automotive standards or corporate
- Main process and launch expertise in tooling and process development

Compensation: $40-45/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

automotive tooling standards, operator interface tooling, automotive processes, and facilities
automotive launch
Tool design background
Microsoft office tools (control charts, data collection)
Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs
Pneumatic tooling experience
