Job Description
One of our automotive clients is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their team based in Dearborn, MI. The manufacturing engineer in his position will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with product development teams to generate facility and tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements
- Using virtual tools to evaluate the feasibility of the new model designs for high volume assembly operations
- Writing/modifying/maintaining process sheets and delivering updated cycle line layouts
- Leading identification, resolution, and closure of FAE feasibility issues
- Creating and following a master schedule for design, build, and implementation of tools in your subsystem (Electrical, Powertrain, Suspension, Exterior, Interior)
- Leading assembly tooling installation, start-up, and commissioning at the assembly site
Compensation: $40-45/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of automotive manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
