Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer to support the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large-scale data sets. This individual will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable data solutions that enable efficient, reliable, and accurate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure to support data ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics.
Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and workflows that ensure reliable and efficient movement of data across systems.
Design, implement, and support enterprise data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures, for both structured and unstructured data.
Create and maintain data engineering tools, scripts, and automation solutions to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards are maintained across all data environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, machine learning, and other data-driven initiatives.

This role requires a strong understanding of modern data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, cloud-based data platforms, and best practices in data engineering.

$65/hr to $78/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years Data Engineering work experience
Experience with GitHub, Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, Python, Machine Learning
