Job Description

Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team in Dearborn, Michigan.

• Platform Development & Maintenance: Design and implement robust software build & delivery platform, ensuring its reliability and scalability. This includes maintenance and continuous improvement of the platform to support the evolving needs of projects and teams.
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation : Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using cutting edge tools such as Concourse, Argo CD, and Tekotn. Focus on automating the software delivery process to enhance efficiency and minimize errors
• Scaling Solutions: Proactively work to scale cloud solutions, leveraging technologies like Kubernetes, Docker and Helm to handle increased demands. This involves optimizing performance and ensuring high availability of services
• Security and Compliance: Adhere to industry standard security best practices, implementing measures to safeguard infrastructure and applications. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organization security policies
• Tool Development for Automation and Monitoring: Write and maintain tools for automation, monitoring, and diagnostics to enhance system stability and performance. Utilize scripting languages like Go, Python, Bash and Shell for tool development
• Collaborative Technical Leadership: Actively participate in team meetings and architectural discussions, contributing to the technical direction of projects. Propose innovative solutions and strategies to tackle complex technical challenges
• Operational Support and On-call Duties: Participate in support rotations and on-call responsibilities, demonstrating a commitment to reliability and responsiveness. This includes applying principles of Site Reliability Engineering to maintain system health and performance
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies and Tools: Utilize expertise in AWS, EKS, and JFrog Antifactory to manage cloud resources effectively. Apply knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies to optimize deployment and management of applications

$65/hr - $76/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer managing AWS cloud services
• Experience managing & provisioning clusters using Kubernetes
• Strong experience using CI/CD tooling and infrastructure as code (Terraform) to perform updates
• Understanding of public key encryption (PKI) & how it’s best used to secure systems
• Open to on call rotation
• Bachelor’s Degree
