Job Description
• Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and materials in accordance with infection control and OSHA guidelines
• Take and develop dental X-rays and advanced medical imaging, including 3D scans, while adhering to radiation safety standards
• Perform chairside assisting using proper aseptic techniques and support efficient four-handed dentistry
• Monitor and record vital signs while ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures
• Accurately document treatment details and patient medical histories using OpenDental software in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized clinical areas to support safe and efficient operations
Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient flow

Required Skills & Experience
• Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Ability to safely operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and imaging tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• X-ray certification
• Experience with OpenDental or similar dental practice management software
Comfort working in a technology-driven clinical environment
Compensation:
$20- $25 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
