A large material handling company is looking for aSolutionsDesign Engineer. This person will be responsible for analyzing customer data to gain an in-depth understandingof their requirements. They will then create parameters to design solution based off customer requirements and KPI's. This person will work cross functionally with sales and application engineering teams to present effective customer solution, then present it to the customer. Therefore, both strong technical knowledge and strong presentation skills are a must for this role. This person will also take part in writing formal proposals to submit to customers.
Salary Ranges from 90,000-150,000 based on experience. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Mechanical or industrial engineering degree (or related)
2+ years of experience in material handling/intralogistics industry
2+ years of material handling or intralogistics experience
Advanced presentation skills (utilizing PowerPoint and word)
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
Sales Engineers/Solutions Engineers/Sales Consultants
Experience in a solutions design related role
