Job Description
Day-to-Day:
In this role, you will work closely with firmware, hardware, and systems engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of firmware running on connected robotic and electromechanical devices. You will design, build, and maintain automated test solutions for embedded firmware, executing tests on real hardware to validate behavior across motors, sensors, and other device components. On a day‑to‑day basis, you will develop and maintain Python‑based test scripts, investigate test failures, and debug issues using tools such as JTAG and logic analyzers to identify root causes at the hardware‑software boundary. You will help integrate firmware test automation into CI/CD pipelines to improve test coverage and catch regressions early in the development cycle. As part of the broader engineering team, you will contribute to test planning, support system‑level and exploratory testing when needed, and collaborate cross‑functionally to continuously improve firmware quality and overall device reliability
Compensation:
$35/hr to $40/hr
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.
