Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher in Alma, MI (open to remote) to support a 24/7 fuel and transportation operation. This individual will be responsible for coordinating daily dispatching of approximately 20 trucks servicing around 50 customers, ensuring efficient routing and on-time delivery of fuel products including gasoline, propane, and ethanol. They will manage driver schedules, plan weekly load capacity, and serve as the main point of contact for drivers during active shifts, including being on-call for critical issues. This role also includes elements of logistics strategy, working with customers who rely on the company for fuel purchasing decisions, inventory oversight, and delivery planning. The coordinator will collaborate with operations leadership to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with transportation and safety standards. The schedule is flexible with a mix of structured shifts and on-call responsibilities. Compensation for this role is $85,000–$90,000 annually with additional bonus opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations
- Experience in fuel, oil, or propane transportation
- Experience managing driver schedules, routes, and load planning
- Ability to manage high-volume operations and prioritize across multiple trucks/customers
- Strong understanding of transportation compliance and safety standards
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in purchasing or inventory management within fuel/oil operations
- Background in 24/7 transportation environments
- Familiarity with managing customer accounts and delivery forecasting
