Insight Global is looking for a PLM Manager in the Dearborn, Michigan area. The PLM Manager will be responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. Other Responsibilities Include:
In collaboration with Marketing, Engineering, Program Management, and all attribute owners, ensure the PLM data accurately captures and aligns with the build variants and configurations, including markets, colors and materials, etc.
Reviewing bill of materials (BOM) under change control to validate the programs design/manufacturing/supply chain requirements based of program events
Plan and generate the buck builds from the BOMs and maintain the history of build snapshots
Familiar with BOM attribution and ability to generate reports based of milestones
Knowledge in CAD methods & processes and engineering BOM consumption in the manufacturing BOM to support the releases and downstream consumption
Provide adhoc training on the change control process to engineers and operations teams
Provide project readiness and checkpoint completion / progress data to program management and leadership teams
Provide support on engineering activities such as part & BOM creation as well as initial BOM releases
Provide input to the Digital Transformation team to ensure sufficient and appropriate digital PLM tools are in place
Compensation:
$40/hr to $42/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
