Job Description

A construction management client is looking to hire a Director of Operations to oversee their New England operations. This role will be based out of Worcester, MA and will be critical to growing our client company's presence in the region. This role will actively collaborate with the executive leadership team to identify, pursue, and secure new projects, particularly within the higher education and healthcare sectors. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, attending industry events, and leveraging market intelligence to position our client company as a preferred partner. The role involves preparing and reviewing proposals, contributing to competitive bid strategies, and ensuring operational insights are integrated into presentations to win work. Additionally, the Director will oversee preconstruction planning and resource allocation to support successful project delivery from the outset.

Required Skills & Experience

- 15+ years of leadership experience within commercial/industrial construction management

- Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships, as business development is a core requirement for this role.

- Demonstrated experience working on multi-million dollar projects within healthcare and/or higher education.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ability to bring in active relationships.
