Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Project Manager for our Consulting Client based in Massachusetts. This role can be local/onsite in Massachusetts or fully remote. This Project Manager will oversee client projects with a strong understanding of client strategies and goals. This role requires self-motivation and technical expertise to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in relationship building, communication, and achieving both tangible and intangible client goals.

Responsibilities:

-Coordinate with internal and external clients to manage MEP projects and control systems.
-Create internal and external standards and departmental processes.
-Support RFP preparation and related processes.
-Manage project budgeting and provide ROMs.
-Plan and schedule projects effectively.
-Oversee internal and external technical resources.
-Establish communication protocols and manage documentation.
-Handle RFI management and responses.
-Execute change order processes.

Additional Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage quality control and resources.
-Create and maintain schedules and employee loading.
-Manage budgets for client projects and internal billing.
-Provide detailed scoping and supporting reports.
-Attend project meetings and interface with clients and vendors.
-Support business development activities and maintain client relationships.
-Keep processes and standards up to date.

Travel Requirements:
Domestic and international travel may be required, averaging 10% but not exceeding 25%.

Compensation:
$50/hr to $65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in engineering field
-Minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP or controls engineering, and some project management and technical sales management focused on instrumentation for vendors, consultants, or end users.
-Proficient in MEP, machine design, HVAC, and electrical instrumentation, with applications in mission-critical environments.
-Knowledgeable in building IT/OT infrastructure and various low voltage technologies such as security systems, lighting control systems, and fire alarm systems.
-Familiar with smart building technology convergence and integration of low-voltage subsystems for IT and parallel OT network infrastructure design.
-Effective team player, comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
-Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Preferably active in industry organizations.
