Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a warehouse associate to join one of the world's largest chemical manufacturers in Westfield, MA. The day-to-day experience includes working the extrusion line. This role will require operating a forklift, taking accurate measurements, and utilizing scan guns. The associate is accountable for the safe handling of labels, packing, and finished products within the warehouse while ensuring to meet all safety protocols. This associate will report to the Plant Manager and will work alongside a team of Warehouse Associates, Customer Service Representatives, and Truck/Freight Drivers. This shift will be from 7pm-7am and the schedule will be two-on-two-off, with alternating 36-hour and 48-hour work weeks. This will be a 6-month assignment with the opportunity for extension or conversion.

Required Skills & Experience

Forklift Experience
1+ years' of Warehouse experience
Experience taking accurate measurements (will use a micrometer in this role)
Experience with scan guns or inventory tracking devices
Hard working with reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to follow warehouse safety requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods at a time

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Customer Service experience / ability to display good customer service
Experience with Extrusion lines or packing areas.
