Network / Systems Engineer (Linux)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive team of Network and Systems Integration Engineers to lead and support radar system testing in a dynamic lab environment. This role is critical to ensuring that Systems and Software Engineering teams have the necessary hardware, networking, and infrastructure to execute development and testing initiatives effectively.

Responsiblities:
- Set up and maintain radar string environments, including servers, network switches, cabling (Cat5, RF), and power systems.
- Perform hardware configuration, racking and stacking, and OS installation (Windows/Linux).
- Manage lab operations including inventory tracking, equipment shipments, and coordination with IT and engineering teams.
- Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and ensure systems are tactically representative of real radar configurations.
- Guide and mentor team members on string setup using established procedures and documentation.
- Interface with internal stakeholders and external visitors, including clients and test site personnel.
- Report regularly to management on lab status, equipment readiness, and operational issues.

$45/hr to $65/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. There are 3 levels available from entry to Principal.
• Experience with a program language i.e (MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix).
• Experience with systems engineering, integration, networking, verification, validation and/or testing.

- Experience in government or defense contracting environments.
- Practical networking experience and certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
- Exposure to radar string testing and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
