Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work fully on-site in Stoughton, MA supporting one of our large healthcare clients with mail processing, data entry, and patient eligibility duties. The ideal candidate will receive, sort, prepare, and send mail related to financial assistance applications and supporting documentation. They will ensure timely and accurate handling of sensitive information that directly impacts patient eligibility, case processing, and overall service quality while maintaining high standards of HIPPA practices, confidentiality, accuracy, and organization to support smooth operations within the Financial Assistance department. This individual will proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population by identifying patients that are eligible to fill with a client partner pharmacy, complete patient benefits investigations, and protect the client's values by keeping information confidential. Other responsibilities include:

• Receive, date-stamp, and log all incoming financial assistance documents.
• Sort mail by program, patient, case type, or priority level.
• Scan, upload, and digitally route documents to the appropriate teams or systems.
• Identify incomplete or incorrect submissions and escalate when needed.
• Prepare and package outgoing documents, letters, and requests for information.
• Verify accuracy of all printed materials before mailing.
• Maintain tracking logs for outbound mail requiring confirmation or deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of all mail handled, including digital logs.
• Ensure documents are labeled, filed, and uploaded correctly into patient systems.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational compliance
guidelines.
• Communicate with teammates regarding delays, missing information, or priority items.
• Perform benefits investigation.
• Utilize multiple approved tools to identify insurance coverage.
• Research within patients' medical records for current medication regimen.
• Complete benefits investigation with approved Pharmacy Dispensing Systems.
• Document clearly and concisely all outcomes of benefits investigation in documentation
tool.
• Collaborate with team members to provide an integrated approach of quality patient care.
• Apply observations and recommendations to operational issues, increased productivity,
quality, and customer-service standards.
• Identify trends, resolve problems; recommend improvements; implement change.
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Act as a value-added business partner to stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Protect organization's values by keeping information confidential.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Compensation: $20/hr-$22/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• National PTCB certification or state registered pharmacy technician license.
• Experience in data entry, mail processing, and/or patient eligibility.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail; able to catch errors or missing information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially.
• Basic proficiency with scanning, document management systems, and Smartsheet.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn
to navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems
(PDS).
• The applicant should be very organized self-motivated with attention to detail and have great interpersonal skills, high integrity and be dependable.
