Insight Global is seeking a junior Automation Engineer to join one of our top pharmaceutical clients in Plainville, MA. This individual will be responsible for supporting the facility with a scope encompassing automation systems for GMP Manufacturing, Quality Control, Process Development, and their Warehouse Operations. Responsibilities will also include supporting functions for all clinical and commercial drug manufacturing of gene therapy products, leading automation activates during tech transfers of new products and provide support throughout the company's manufacturing campaigns. This individual should have at least 2 years of experience within the biotech engineering/ manufacturing space, specifically in a GMP environment. The role will be collaborating with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Sciences, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Information Systems, and other Engineering teams to complete all responsibilities as well as supporting manufacturing equipment and analytical equipment including implementing modifications to improve operational performance and product quality. Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves

* 2+ years of engineering experience in a GMP environment

* Go-getter attitude who is eager to learn and grow

* Experience reviewing and supporting the execution of Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) Activities

* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences OR Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical).

* Previous experience with DeltaV, DCS and/or PLC coding and automation hardware
