Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations at a leading production facility in Norwood, MA. This individual will be responsible for performing product inspections and qualifications to ensure top-tier product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. The role also supports the implementation and ongoing compliance of the ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

-Perform inspections at incoming, in-process, and final stages of production
-Operate various measurement and testing devices including micrometers, vision systems, optical comparators, profilometers, tensile testers, and more
-Execute product rewind operations and stage products for inspection and release
-Support installation, debugging, and documentation of new metrology equipment and test methods
-Conduct Gage R&R and test method validation (TMV) in collaboration with Quality Engineering
-Assist with quality processes including nonconformances, CAPA, change control, complaints, and validations
-Complete First Article Inspections (FAIRs) using internal or customer-specified methods
-Support product and process development through testing, image capture, and data collection
-Utilize quality management software for data entry, routing, and reporting
-Perform other duties as assigned by management

Must-Haves:
-Experience in product inspection and quality control in a manufacturing environment
-Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP standards
-Proficiency with measurement tools and testing equipment
-Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
-Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting
-Comfortable using digital tools and quality management software

Compensation:
$56,000.00 to $83,200.00 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of product quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; ISO 13485 knowledge preferred
-Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools for low to moderately complex parts
-Strong blueprint reading skills and GD&T training
-Experience with root cause analysis and quality documentation
-Comfortable navigating ERP systems for data entry and retrieval
-Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Willingness to support cross-functional teams and go beyond core responsibilities when needed
-Ability to lift and maneuver up to 20 lbs regularly
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
-Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; additional training or education preferred

-Ability to speak Portuguese preferred but not required
