Job Description

An employer is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join a robotics company in Massachusetts. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS and DevOps practices to enhance operational workflows and streamline development processes. Responsibilities include:
Application Deployment: Deploy applications and services to AWS environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Cloud Infrastructure Automation: Develop and optimize cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services and automation tools.
Cloud-Native Development: Use AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and serverless architecture to design and deploy microservices.
Container Management: Utilize containerization tools like Docker and AWS ECS/Fargate for streamlined deployments.
Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement innovative cloud solutions.

$50/hour to $60/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience developing and managing DevOps systems using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and more.
Background as a developer, with hands-on programming skills with modern languages like Java, Python, Ruby, or Golang.
Experience automating, deploying, and supporting AWS infrastructure.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting physical hardware, such as robotics or a similar systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including their design, build, and optimization processes.
Ability to integrate and utilize AWS tools for infrastructure automation (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild).
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
