Job Description
As a Lead UX/UI Designer, you’ll drive end‑to‑end design for our client consumer digital experiences across web and mobile, shaping solutions that support students throughout their education journey. You’ll translate research insights, customer needs, and business goals into intuitive flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners. You’ll ensure design quality by documenting specifications, guiding developers through implementation, and advocating for usability and accessibility. You’ll also contribute to the internal design system, maintain consistency across products, and help drive strategic decisions through research and stakeholder alignment. This role is not a visual design or marketing role rather, core user experience - working w stakeholder - breaking down complex ask - MVP . Prior UX experience in the financial services space would significantly help this individual to create optimal application workflows & user experience.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in UX, UI, interaction, or product design with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex, multi‑platform work.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with experience producing detailed specs and annotated interactions.
Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence working across disciplines and levels.
Strong project management and self‑direction skills, consistently delivering high‑quality work on time.
Ability to work 3x/week in Newark DE
Experience in financial services or education technology.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
Understanding of agile development processes and cross‑functional product teams.
Background in conversion optimization, experimentation, or e‑commerce.
Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems.
