A Fortune 100 telecommunications provider is looking for a fully remote Optical Transport engineer to join their team. This resource will design and plan an end-to-end optical transport network working with Ciena OME6500 and Nokia MNFT. This resource will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing telecommunication networks, systems and equipment. They will also analyze existing networks and equipment and identifies opportunities for improvement. Along with develop solutions that meet business requirements. This person will work with a supervisor to get all necessary requirements and will also report to a manager in the engineering organization.
The Ideal Candidate will be looking for $40-55/ hr

-5+ years of experience in CWDM/DWDM Optical Transport systems including: Ciena and Nokia
-Telecom/Cable service provider experience required
-Experience with Ciena OME6500 and OneControl
-Experience with Nokia MNFT/Wwave-NOC suite tools
-Experience using Nokia EPT and Ciena MCP
