Job Description

Role Overview
A hands-on professional responsible for maintaining building structures, mechanical systems, and process equipment across two facilities. This role also involves coordinating external vendors and liaising with landlords for shared services.

Key Responsibilities

Facility & Regulatory Systems
Act as point of contact for external service providers (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, air compressors, dust collectors, emergency suppression systems).
Manage vendors for maintenance, inspections, repairs, and regulatory compliance.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Collaborate with area managers to maintain:
Vacuum pumps (rebuilds)
Filter changes/cleaning (air, dust collector)
Lighting (bulbs, fixtures)
Pneumatic lines (installation, adjustment)
Painting, building repairs
Water‑jet cutter, splitter maintenance
Belt adjustments/replacement
Re‑placement of electric drops; forklift/scissor lift operations
Emergency systems upkeep

Landlord Coordination
Schedule snow removal, landscaping, parking lot repairs, major construction through landlord contacts.

Required Skills & Experience

*High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or professional certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing a plus

*3+ years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance

*Proficiency with:
HVAC, electrical systems
Plumbing repairs, Air compressors, dust collectors, Emergency fire suppression systems,
Heavy moving equipment (forklifts, lifts)

*Mechanical aptitude with tooling (hand/power)

*Skill in reading technical drawings, schematics, blueprints

*Strong vendor coordination and project management capabilities

*Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

*Detail-oriented and self-driven

*Willingness to work overtime or weekends during emergencies

*OSHA 10 Certification

*Forklift Certification
