The Cloud Administrator III is a key member of the Cloud team, responsible for supporting and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our multi-tenant cloud environment. Reporting to the Technical Manager of Data Centers & Infrastructure, this role focuses on systems configuration, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with VMware and Windows environments, and will work closely with engineers and the Service Center to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction.
Day to Day:
Install, support, and maintain physical and virtual servers, data center hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, and storage systems.
Provide technical and operational support for a multi-tenant cloud infrastructure using technologies such as VMware vSphere, Active Directory, SAN/NAS storage.
Troubleshoot and escalate issues by collecting logs and opening vendor support tickets.
Deliver Level II support for incident resolution to ensure minimal downtime.
Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Follow security protocols and standards for infrastructure technologies.
Conduct regular testing for availability and business continuity.
Monitor performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.
Mentor and train junior staff as needed.
Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams.

4+ years of progressive experience in VMware or Hyper-V virtual machine management.
Strong proficiency in Windows operating systems.
Hands-on experience with VMware technologies such as:
vSphere, vCenter Server, Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS), vSphere, Standard and Distributed Switching
Host/Guest Networking, vSphere HA, ESXi Cluster administration, Datastore and RDM administration
Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems (FC SAN, iSCSI).
Experience providing Level II support and working in a multi-tenant cloud environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Storage, or other cloud technologies.
ITIL certification.
3+ years with delivery solutions such as HP OneView, HP Virtual Connect Manager, Cisco UCS Manager.
Familiarity with HP BL Series Blade Servers and Cisco UCS Blades.
Exposure to healthcare IT systems (e.g., Meditech, Cerner, McKesson, PACS, HIE).
Experience with server hardening and security event prevention technologies (e.g., Anti-Virus, SYSLOG).
Background in advanced datacenter-wide virtualization.
Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and HIPAA frameworks.
