Job Description

One of our federal clients is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in a full-time Principal Support capacity. This role requires substantial expertise in software management, as the selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing contractor processes, guiding architectural decisions, and reviewing coding practices. This will be supporting aerial networking and is dedicated to acquiring, deploying, and maintaining advanced networks, integrated information systems, enterprise services, and mission-critical applications. These systems are essential for enabling seamless communication across land, naval, air, and space forces.


Responsibilities Include:
-Review program portfolios to assess plans, improve systems engineering processes, manage technical baselines, and ensure system-level performance meets specifications.
-Evaluate engineering designs and test results to confirm compliance with program requirements.
-Develop technical documentation and management reports; deliver presentations using engineering economy principles.
-Validate systems through criteria development and result analysis.
-Provide engineering and technical support across program phases: acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, and operations.
-Support risk management activities
-Perform advanced analyses including problem definition, trade space exploration, technology road mapping, set-based design, MODA, and cost-capability trade-offs.

Pay rate: 70-90/hr

Required Skills & Experience

-Active Secret Clearance
-Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Engineering
-10+ years of aircraft systems engineering experience
