Job Description
The Systems Engineer will apply broad engineering expertise to plan, design, integrate, test, and sustain secure, resilient communications and information systems.
Develop and manage a process to collect, track, and maintain system requirements (Mission Worthiness Assessment)
Analyze system data to support performance, risk, and mission success evaluations
Support system design, integration, testing, and validation across the full lifecycle
Conduct trade studies (cost, schedule, performance, risk) to support decisions
Collaborate with engineering teams, program offices, and Air Force stakeholders
Present findings and updates to senior leadership in a clear, concise way
Support digital engineering / MBSE efforts and system documentation

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
~3–7+ years of systems engineering experience across full lifecycle
Experience with:
Requirements management
Data analysis and research
System integration and testing
Experience supporting trade studies and technical decision-making
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Comfortable briefing leadership and working across teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
NC3 or mission-critical systems experience
Digital engineering / MBSE experience
MOSA / Open Mission Systems familiarity
Experience with SWAP-C or system constraints analysis
Air Force / DoD program experience
Experience supporting mission assurance or worthiness efforts
Ability to help build processes in undefined/ambiguous environments
