Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Mold Maker for our client, a key partner in the pharmaceutical sector, based in Easthampton, MA. This person will fabricate, modify, and repair precision molds for manufacturing operations, utilizing blueprints and various machining tools like lathes and mills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspecting molds after use to ensure they are still in good working order
• Identify and resolve issues with molds to ensure they function optimally and produce high quality parts
• Repairing or modifying existing molds to meet production requirements
• Troubleshooting issues with operators when they arise
• Collaborating with Engineers on design
• Creating new molds from engineering drawings
• Operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, and using hand tools for skilled tasks
• Performing precise measurements and inspections of molds using tools such as calipers, micrometers etc. to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling molds to maintain performance
• Other related tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1 year related experience and/or training
Experience fabricating, modifying and repairing precision molds for manufacturing operations
Experience reading blueprints
Experience operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, and using hand tools for skilled tasks
