Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to oversee and manage the closeout phase of a large-scale telecommunications project. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecommunications, construction, or electrical projects, with experience in project management, documentation, and coordinating field teams. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage project tasks, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure the completion of key deliverables. Compensation for this job ranges from $40/hr - $50/hr but varies based on skills and years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the final stages of a major telecommunications project (radio, antennas, and tower installations), ensuring that all deliverables are met.

- Documentation & Reporting: track project deliverables and ensure site books and data are properly documented.

- Produce weekly status reports, summarizing project progress, financials, and upcoming deliverables.

- Participate in weekly project calls with stakeholders (15-20 participants), taking part in discussions about project milestones and upcoming work.

- Maintain accurate records of site acceptance checklists, diagrams, and other essential project documents.

- Coordination & Communication:
Communicate with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to coordinate and track progress on field activities (e.g., antenna and microwave dish installations).

- Risk Management: Identify potential issues or delays and proactively work to mitigate risks to ensure the project stays on track.

- Budget & Financial Monitoring: Track project budget and financial status to ensure alignment with project goals, addressing any discrepancies in the projects financials.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in telecommunications, construction, or electrical projects.

Experience in document control, site management, and the closeout of complex infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with site acceptance processes, including tracking deliverables and ensuring all documentation is accurate.

Strong proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, or similar).

Excellent communication skills

High degree of self-motivation and proactiveness

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear reports and engage with both team members and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize based on project needs.

Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking for large projects.
