Job Description

Quality Assurance Engineer to join a scrum team supporting a dedicated microsite for one of our top health tech clients. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, stability, and performance of a customer‑facing microsite.
You will apply strong QA fundamentals, Agile testing practices, and a keen eye for detail to validate functionality across modern web applications in a fast‑paced Scrum environment. The QA will be collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, understand Agile delivery, and take ownership of ensuring high‑quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and Design teams within a Scrum framework to plan and execute testing activities for microsite features
- Create and execute detailed, comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Validate functional and non‑functional requirements including usability, performance, and cross‑browser compatibility
- Partner closely with the development team to ensure features meet business and technical requirements prior to release
- Execute regression, integration, and release testing and clearly document test results
Identify, log, track, and communicate defects and risks to key stakeholders
- Support sprint ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews from a QA perspective
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and release readiness

Pay ranges from $10-25/hr based on qualifications and years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in a QA or Test Engineering role
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Hands‑on experience with test case design, execution, and defect management
- Experience testing web‑based applications across multiple browsers and devices
- Familiarity with validating APIs and integrations is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams
- Experience preparing test status reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting customer‑facing websites or microsites
- Exposure to modern frontend technologies such as React‑based applications
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal) and content‑driven experiences
- Knowledge of test automation tools, Java, Selenium, or similar frameworks
- Experience working in enterprise‑scale or regulated environments
