Job Description

• Partner with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) team to define Jira structures and reporting strategy
• Build and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting capabilities for engineering teams
• Create and manage Jira projects, workflows, epics, features, custom fields, and automations
• Develop scalable reporting solutions that provide visibility into project health and performance
• Support Release Product Engineers through the Change Development Process (CDP)
• Track engineering changes, timelines, deliverables, and associated risks
• Escalate process bottlenecks and project delays when necessary
• Gather and document stakeholder requirements
• Lead meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through on deliverables
• Continuously improve Jira configurations, reporting structures, and operational processes based on feedback from each Program Increment (PI)
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to drive organizational improvements

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Management & Jira/DevOps Specialist for a leading medical device engineering organization. This individual will work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and Release Train Engineers to establish scalable Jira frameworks, develop meaningful dashboards and reporting solutions, and support critical engineering change initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, analytical, and comfortable owning projects from concept through execution. This role is less focused on traditional Scrum Master responsibilities and more centered around DevOps operations, Jira administration, reporting strategy, process optimization, and continuous improvement. Candidates with experience in engineering environments, change management systems such as Windchill or Oracle Agile, and SAFe methodologies will be particularly successful in this position.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience administering and configuring Jira environments
• Strong background building dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks
• Experience creating custom Jira fields, workflows, automations, and structures
• Ability to translate business goals and performance metrics into actionable dashboards
• Experience establishing Jira hierarchies (Epics, Features, parent-child relationships, etc.)
• Strong project management skills with experience leading initiatives and driving outcomes
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and continuously improve processes
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
