Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely distribution of critical investment data across the organization. On a day-to-day basis, the individual will oversee the validation and quality control of securities, issuer, pricing, valuation, and benchmark data supporting the firm's investable universe. They will perform detailed data quality checks, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain reliable and accurate financial data. The role also involves evaluating and onboarding new market data sources, supporting data feed integrations, and partnering with market data teams to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and data governance standards. In addition, the candidate will prepare and distribute pricing and valuation data to business users, support ad hoc reporting requests, and develop automated processes that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data delivery. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial instruments and investment operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, technology, market data, and investment teams. The individual will also play a key role in documenting procedures, improving operational workflows, and contributing to the ongoing development of data governance and quality management practices. Compensation is based on years of experience and ranges from $40-45/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience within investment operations, investment services, market data management, security master data, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income securities, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
• Technical proficiency with SQL, Excel or other data automation and reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with investment accounting and trading platforms such as APX, CRD, Bloomberg, or similar systems.
• Proven experience performing data validation, data quality control, reconciliation, and issue resolution within investment or financial data platforms.
• Experience working with financial data providers and industry platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Reuters, or similar market data solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across operations, technology, investment, and vendor management teams.

• Experience with pricing, valuation, accounting, and benchmark data management processes.
