INTL India - Vulnerability Management Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a remote IT Security Analyst focused on Laptop Endpoint Vulnerability Management to join a global consulting firm.

This person will work in the Enterprise Security Service team within the organizations Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM). Your primary responsibility will be to operate and manage laptop Endpoint Vulnerability Management (EVM) using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and ensure timely remediation through structured tracking and stakeholder coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities:
-Utilize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) – Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) to identify, assess, and prioritize endpoint vulnerabilities
-Perform risk-based vulnerability analysis and triaging using CVSS, threat context, and business impact
-Translate MDE security recommendations into actionable remediation tasks for endpoint/application owners
-Log and track vulnerabilities via ServiceNow (SNOW) incidents/tickets and ensure proper categorization and assignment
-Actively follow up with asset/application owners to drive remediation and ensure closure within defined SLAs
-Provide regular reporting status to leadership on vulnerability posture, remediation status, and SLA adherence
-Analyze vulnerability trends and provide insights to improve overall endpoint security posture
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, IT, application owners) to ensure effective vulnerability remediation

Compensation:
$10/hr to $15/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

-3-5 years of experience in Vulnerability Management / Endpoint Security, focused on laptops specifically
-Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and vulnerability prioritization (CVSS, threat-based context)
-Knowledge on scripting (e.g. PowerShell) to write automation scripts
-Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint environments (Windows, Linux (for VDI's), Mac)
-Sound knowledge of ITIL standards. Working experience of ITSM tool such as ServiceNow
-Experience of working in a virtual team within a globally distributed company with numerous cultures

-Security certifications
-Experience in bug bounty hunting with well-known bug bounty platforms /vulnerability disclosure programs
