Title: Part‑Time HR Consultant
A growing law firm is seeking a very part‑time HR Consultant to support mainly employee relations and performance management initiatives. This role will focus on advising leadership on partner and associate matters, strengthening feedback practices, and serving as a neutral resource for mediation and conflict resolution.
The consultant will work with an existing employee handbook and help bring structure and consistency to areas such as Year‑End Reviews (YER), including the development and institutionalization of 30/60/90‑day feedback and review processes. The ideal individual is comfortable facilitating honest, constructive conversations and guiding leadership and employees through discussions around performance, development, and long‑term fit within the firm.
This role is well‑suited for a seasoned HR professional seeking flexible hours while providing meaningful guidance during a period of growth and evaluation.
The individual work on an as-needed basis, between 1-10 hours a week.
Hourly rate starts at $70/hr, and has flexibility dependent on relevant experience and background. It is preferred that candidates sit on the east coast.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10+ years of professional HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience supporting professional services environments (law firm experience preferred, but not required)
- Skilled in mediation, performance feedback, and sensitive employee matters
- Ability to operate independently in a highly part‑time, advisory capacity
