Data Governance Product Manager

Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Data Governance Product Manager for a top healthcare technology client. This individual will play a key role in driving enterprise-wide data governance initiatives across a modern cloud-based data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management expertise with hands-on experience implementing data governance programs, governance frameworks, and data quality initiatives.
This person will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data leaders, and architects to develop and execute governance strategies that improve data quality, stewardship, metadata management, and compliance. The role will help shape the organization's evolving governance roadmap while supporting governance capabilities within Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who has successfully led governance initiatives, can proactively identify governance challenges, and is comfortable operating within complex, highly cross-functional environments.
Pay starting at $70/ hr depending on certs/ YOE

• 5+ years of Product Management experience supporting data platforms, analytics products, or enterprise data initiatives
• Experience building, implementing, or managing enterprise Data Governance programs
• Strong understanding of:
○ Data Governance
○ Data Stewardship
○ Data Quality
○ Metadata Management
○ Data Classification
○ Data Privacy & Security
○ Data Access Controls
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Experience owning and managing product roadmaps
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
• Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms
• Understanding of data architecture, data engineering concepts, and downstream data dependencies
BI & analytics delivery experience with BI-focused roadmaps and insights

• Data Governance certifications (CDMP, CDGC, DGSP)
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience with governance tools such as:
○ Snowflake Horizon
○ Collibra
○ Alation
○ Microsoft Purview
○ Atlan
○ Informatica Axon
• Experience implementing governance frameworks across multiple business units
Knowledge of RBAC, data masking, lineage, and data catalog solutions
